IRS extends February 2025 deadline to May 01, 2025 for the 2023 tax season.
IRS has extended the February deadline for the 2023 tax season to May 01, 2025 for all counties that were affected by Hurricane Helene.
The business returns apply to corporations that had an original extended deadline of October 15th 2024.
It also applies to estimated tax payments due on September 16, 2024, January 15, 2025, and April 15, 2025.

Keep in mind that although this provides relief for the failure to file penalty, this does not extend the deadline to pay your annual taxes as that was originally due on April 15th 2024.
